When I was in Colombia last month, the debate over breast implants was on. The same scandal occupied our return to Europe, and has not subsided. More than 300,000 women in 65 countries, mainly in Europe and South America, have breast implants installed at high risk of rupture. Composed, among other questionable substances, industrial silicone fuel additive, were produced by the French company PIP (Poly-implant-prosthesis), which was closed since 2010 on charges of fraud.
